Description
The Hospitality Management Experience is the perfect opportunity for prospective students interested in Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts. You’ll learn about available programs and career path opportunities, as well as what to expect as a student in these programs. During your visit, you will also have the chance to explore campus with a current JCCC student as your guide and learn important information about admission, scholarships and financial aid, and student life from the JCCC Admissions Team. This is a great opportunity to ask questions, explore resources, and receive guidance on your next steps to becoming a Cavalier.

- Who is the Hospitality Management Experience for?
The event is open to anyone interested in exploring JCCC’s Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts programs. High school students, prospective college students, adult learners, career changers, and their families are all welcome!
- What can I expect at the event?
You’ll get an inside look at what it’s like to study Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts at JCCC. You’ll hear from a member of the Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management program about the programs, career opportunities, and student experience. You’ll also get an in-depth look at the 36,000-square-foot Wylie Hospitality and Culinary Academy, including the state-of-the-art facilities where JCCC students learn and gain hands-on experience. You’ll see five culinary labs, an innovation kitchen, a demonstration kitchen and culinary theater, and JCCC’s very own pastry shop. You’ll also hear from the JCCC Admissions Team about admissions, scholarships, financial aid, and student life and take a campus tour led by a current JCCC student ambassador.
- Will I get to tour campus?
Yes! You’ll participate in a campus tour led by a current JCCC student.
- Do I need to know what I want to study?
Not at all! This event is a great opportunity to explore Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts and learn more about potential career paths before deciding what’s right for you.
- Can my parent or family member attend with me?
Absolutely! Families are welcome and encouraged to attend. Family members can learn more about JCCC, explore the campus, and ask questions alongside you.
- Can I attend with a friend?
Yes! Friends are welcome to attend. Each prospective student should register individually so we know who will be attending.
- Can I attend if I’m still exploring my college options?
Absolutely! Whether JCCC is your first choice, one of several options, or you’re still figuring out what’s next, you’re welcome to explore.
- What should I wear?
Wear comfortable, casual clothing and shoes. You’ll be walking around campus during the event, so comfortable shoes are recommended.
- Where do I park? Do I need a parking pass?
Parking is free on the JCCC campus. We'll email specific directions and parking recommendations the day before the event.
- What if I need an accommodation?
If you need an accommodation to fully participate in the event, please let us know by sending an email to admissions@jccc.edu at least 3 business days before your visit so we can do our best to accommodate your needs.
- What if I have questions that aren't answered here?
