Get an inside look at what’s happening across campus, from academic programs and student resources to admissions, financial aid, and the facilities that bring our programs to life. Connect with JCCC faculty and staff, explore campus through interactive sessions and tours, and network with fellow counselors—all while gaining practical information and resources you can take back to your students. - What is High School Counselor Day?
High School Counselor Day is an opportunity for counselors to visit campus, connect with college staff, and learn more about academic programs, admissions, financial aid, and student support services—so you can better guide your students through the college search and transition process. It's also a great opportunity to network with those who are in similar positions in the Kansas City metro area.
- Who should attend this event?
High school counselors, college and career advisors, administrators, and other school professionals who support students in postsecondary planning.
- Where do I park? Do I need a parking pass?
Parking is free on the JCCC campus. We'll email specific directions and parking recommendations the day before the event.
- Can I bring a colleague?
Absolutely! Just make sure each attendee registers separately.
- What should I wear?
The event is casual - wear something you feel comfortable in. Just be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes, as we will tour some of the different facilities across campus.
- Will lunch be provided?
Yes, lunch will be provided. Dietary accommodations may be requested during registration.
- What if I need an accommodation?
